Barnum Point was home to three generations of the Barnum family. Originally purchased in 1904 by Sterling Jones Barnum, his wife Mary, and their three daughters.
As the Barnum Point land became available, the Whidbey-Camano Land Trust raised the funds to purchase it as a county park. As a result, Camano Island visitors and residents alike get to enjoy the park and all it has to offer!
